Ross Gilchrist, at 34 was the epitome of health and joy until he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2023. Despite going under 12 rounds of chemotherapy with remarkable strength and positivity, sadly the treatment he has received to date has not had the desired result as wished.Β
Pancreatic cancer is extremely rare in someone Ross’s age, as a result, limited research has been carried out among his age group. There is a promising clinical trial in America that has shown to be effective at treating the specific type of cancer Ross has. However, this trial and drug is only available in America, the trial along with entering into the American healthcare system does come at a cost.
ALL funds raised in this competition will go towards helping Ross access this life-saving treatment that he urgently needs!
